The Main House Exterior at Feather Leaf Inn
With its historic architecture, long gallery porch and views of the Caribbean Sea, the Main House is a distinctive part of Feather Leaf Inn’s oceanfront setting in St. Croix. Explore the exterior photographs below to get a feel for the building and picture yourself here, whether you’re planning an island getaway or looking for somewhere to bring your retreat community.
The Main House forms part of a historic estate that has been restored and given a new purpose. Today, it welcomes guests seeking rest, connection and time in nature, while retaining the character of the buildings that came before.
Ocean Views and Sunset Gatherings
Stretching along the Main House, the 52-foot gallery porch offers space to enjoy the ocean breeze and watch the changing colours of the evening sky. It’s somewhere to linger over a meal, chat with fellow guests or enjoy a quiet moment overlooking the sea.
For retreat leaders, the porch offers possibilities for shared meals, conversation and group activities. Its open-air setting brings the surrounding landscape into the experience, making time together outdoors part of the rhythm of your retreat.
Picture your stay
A morning on the porch, an afternoon exploring the island, an evening watching the sunset: the Main House offers a welcoming backdrop for enjoying the Caribbean at your own pace.
Browse the exterior gallery, then explore the common areas, surrounding grounds and five individual guest rooms in the main house.
