Role Overview: Curate Exceptional Experiences
As our Seasonal Property & Experience Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of daily operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of Feather Leaf Inn. This hands-on role is perfect for proactive, organized, and creative professionals looking to gain invaluable experience in sustainable hospitality management, event coordination, and community building. You'll empower our volunteer team, oversee daily operations and engage directly with guests, playing a pivotal part in cultivating an educational environment.

Key responsibility 1
Guest & Retreat Experiences
-
Proactively engage with guests daily
-
Manage guest inquiries and communications
-
Provide updates to owners on guest relations
-
Collaborate with retreat organizers and event hosts to ensure flawless events
-
Assist with property tours

Key responsibility 2
Volunteer Coordination
-
Oversee and assist with housekeeping
-
Train and lead volunteer teams for cleaning and daily innkeeping tasks
-
Manage inventory and procurement of supplies
-
Act as liaison for property maintenance needs, coordinating with the maintenance team
-
Coordinate staff house care with volunteers

Key responsibility 3
Cookhouse & Culinary Support
We will teach you creative/delicious vegan breakfast recipes from scratch and sustainably sourced ingredients utilizing food grown on the property.

Track operations, order supplies, and manage kitchen communication (allergies, guest numbers)

Organize and schedule volunteers and cook staff for cookhouse assistance, especially during retreats or groups with meal plans

Maintain safety and hygiene protocols

Key responsibility 4
Marketing & Digital Presence assistance

Collaborate with volunteers to manage social media (IG, Facebook, YouTube).

Maintain Shared Albums and collective content
-
Update website content (events, retreats, blogs).
-
Manage email lists

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 1 year in service industry (tourism, restaurant, hotel).
Skills: Excellent communication, phone etiquette, customer service, and problem-solving.
Mindset: Proactive, willing to learn, capable of sound judgment.
Technical: Ability to operate and learn new computer software.
Teamwork: Comfortable collaborating with owners, volunteers, and guests.
Optional Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with Wix, Eventbrite, Google Business Suite.
Experience managing social media business accounts.
Basic email marketing and troubleshooting.
